How to maintain sleeping bags?

Sleeping bag is an important equipment for camping. A good sleeping bag can promote our sleep and make adequate preparations for outdoor sports the next day. So how to maintain sleeping bags?

First, cleaning

a> Please use neutral detergent or special sleeping bag cleaner to clean the sleeping bag. Do not use powerful cleaners, bleaches or fabric softener.

b> Soak the sleeping bag for a short time before cleaning, and gently brush the dirty parts such as the head, neckline and feet with a soft brush;

c> Sleeping bags can be washed by the front drum washing machine, but not by top turbine washing machine. Before machine washing, turn out the sleeping bag, zip up all the zippers and button up. Choose warm water and mild mode for the washing machine, and do not use the spin-drying function. Strong centrifugal force will damage the fabric and lining of the sleeping bag.

d> Please rinse thoroughly the detergent and soap bubbles;

e> After cleaning, do not pick up the sleeping bag from one side, but pick up the whole sleeping bag from the bottom, otherwise the fabric and lining of the sleeping bag will be damaged;

f> Frequent washing will damage the warm-keeping medium down of the sleeping bag, so please keep it clean and minimize the washing times.

Second, drying

a> Sleeping bags are suitable for flat drying in a ventilated and dry environment, avoiding direct sunlight, and ultraviolet rays will damage the nylon surface;

b> you can use a commercial dryer, which has a large capacity, keeps dry at a low temperature, and have enough room for sleeping bags to flip;

c> After drying, please continue to shake the sleeping bag and gently pat the tangled place down to make the down stretch completely, and then put the sleeping bag into the storage bag after it is restored to its original state.

Thirdly, storage.

a> Try to choose a dry and cool environment for daily storage, and ensure that the sleeping bag is clean;

b> Do not store it in a compression bag. Long-term compression will make the insulation layer lose its elasticity, thus reducing its insulation performance. It is recommended to use the gift storage bag for storage, or use the bottom webbing to hang upside down in the closet.

c> If you don't use it for a long time, it is recommended to tidy the sleeping bag once in a while, so that it can be completely stretched and air-dried, reloaded into a storage bag or hung upside down.
